Jacob Evers graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Evers was a legal assistant with the nationally recognized mass tort firm of Aylstock Witkin Kreis & Overholtz. He worked on a variety of mass tort projects, including the Engle Trust (tobacco litigation). His responsibilities included the management of huge numbers of complex cases. Mr. Evers was also tasked with legal research and analyses of potential mass tort cases which lawyers across the U.S. would ask the firm to undertake. His extensive experience before law school prepared him well for his current practice, including representation of victims of defective drugs and defective products. Since becoming licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, Mr. Evers has focused his practice on mass torts, including working at the national level of Avandia (defective diabetes drug) and the Gulf Oil Spill.
